Lucia is the patron saint of sight, light, writers, AND stained glass makers! Often portrayed with a wreath of candles on her head, she alternativly shown carrying her eyes on a platter or as buds on a plant. Her Miracle was :RESILIANCE as they tried to kill this lady every way they could think of. They lit her on fire, they gouged out her eyes, they tried to hang her..... the dagger in the chest finally did the trick.
Saint Lucia always carries her eyes with her, on a vine or a plate. She is the patron saint of sight, light, writers, AND stained glass makers!
