An Amulet to the Fates, Clotho, Lachesis and Atropos. The Weavers of Life, they represent the phases of birth, life and death. Clotho, the Spinner, begins weaving the threads of each human, each thread a human life.  Lachesis, The Allotter, determines life span, and Atropos snips the thread, choosing the end of a human's life. Jade is the protector of generations, living and dead.
This piece consists of three hand enameled, kiln fired portraits combined with brass and tin, and a post war japanese jade piece placed in the top. The piece hangs 12 inches, it's  beautiful to touch and the wires give it just a bit of movement.
